✿ My Daily Makeup Routine ✿

hiya~

Today's post is about my daily makeup routine!
Recently, I've discovered a foolproof way to keep my eye makeup throughout the day. Now, my usual school day has been consisting of literally around 12 hours at school.
I spend 9 hours in class, and after school I usually have around 3 hours of volleyball practice. This means I sweat, yawn, and possibly even fall asleep (lol) basically every day.
I find that my eye makeup, which is what I mainly worry about, stays on for literally the entire day.

First, I wash my face and apply moisturizer. The moisturizer I currently use is from Clinique, and I like it because it's lightweight and really works. I have really sensitive skin and I often find that moisturizers from different brands break me out really badly.

Next, I usually apply eye primer. This is my essential product, for it's what makes my eyeshadow last the entire day. Sometimes I find it even stays on after I shower!

However, this product is quite expensive, so I purchase the $12 travel size. I find that a little bit of this goes a long way, and although the tube may not look like it lasts you very long, I've been using the same tube for about half a year now, and I'm only halfway through the tube.

To apply this, I use a super tiny amount on my pointer fingers and smear it on my eyelid, rubbing it in until you can barely see the whitish tint.

After I apply primer, I like to let it set for a little bit, so I apply concealer.
I use two different concealers: one for my dark under eye circles, which I've recently begun to see a dramatic increase in due to high school stress, and one for blemishes.

For blemishes, I use Benefit's Boi-ing. I use the shade Light/Medium. It's not the best concealer, but it works. I'm just using this until I find a concealer I like better. This is the first concealer I've ever used because I do not apply other face makeup, such as foundation. I've had this concealer for well over a year, and I hit pan awhile ago, so I'll definitely be purchasing a new concealer soon.

To apply this, I usually use my finger to put in on problem spots, and I blend it in with a Mac 217 brush. I stole this brush from my mom forever ago, and it's beginning to shed pretty badly, but it works!

For my under eye circles, I use Fake Up, Benefit's newest concealer. I was surprised that the shade Medium fit well for me, because the Medium in Erase Paste is horrifyingly orange. This concealer is better than Boi-ing, and is extremely hydrating. I like that it's a stick as well, because it's easier for application.

To apply this, I smear it under my eyes and smooth it in using my ring finger.

Directly after I apply my concealer, I powder. Recently I've been using either the Neutrogena Skin-Clearing powder or Rimmel London's Stay Matte Powder in Translucent.

I like using the Neutrogena one after I do early morning sports because who wants to sweat and have orange come onto their clothes? Not this girl.

Right in the morning, I use the Rimmel powder because it's translucent.

These are just typical drugstore powders that I find look quite natural compared to the MAC Mineral Skinfinish I used to use on a daily basis.

To apply these, I use a kabuki brush I also stole from my mom awhile back. Mine is from Sephora, and it's been discontinued, but really any fluffy brush will do.

Next, I apply blush and bronzer. Depending on my mood, I will pick a blush, and I just have bronzers to go with it. I don't have a particular care about bronzer, I just find that it's a necessary balance with blush, and I don't see much of a difference, so I just whatever it.

If I want a light look, I'll apply MAC's Well-Dressed. I find that this shade look really good on all skin tones. It's basically a really light, gold-ish shimmer baby pink.

With this blush, I use an old Estee Lauder bronzer I stole from my mother a year ago. It's a Bronze Goddess bronzer, and it has been discontinued.

If I want more of a natural-looking flush, a "I just went ice-skating" kind of look, I use Orgasm from Nars. Since Nars is quite an expensive brand, I purchased a travel size blush-bronzer duo. This includes Laguna as a bronzer. If I decide to use Orgasm, I'll just go ahead and use Laguna with it.

This product is extremely expensive; just this small package is $24! It's definitely worth the splurge, though.

To apply all my blushes and bronzers, I use the brushes that correspond with the function from the set I purchased on Black Friday from Sephora. It's just a basic set, which you can find here.

Finally, I move onto my eyes. I like natural makeup, and I like rose gold. So, you can imagine my glee when I found this eyeshadow! Everyone always raves about this eyeshadow, and it's definitely worth the hype.

You guessed it, it's a Loreal Infallible Eyeshadow in the color Amber Rush.

To apply this, I use my Topshop Eyeshadow Brush.

Next, I apply liquid eyeliner. I just draw a thin line right above my lashes to make them seem a bit longer. It doesn't make that much of a difference. I like to use Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner in the brown color. This eyeliner is the best I've used, and the only downside is that it doesn't last too long. I can't say it isn't waterproof, because normally it just fades away before I shower or sweat.

Next, I curl my lashes using my Sephora eyelash curler. I like this eyelash curler because it's padded inside the handle, unlike other eyelash curlers. Mine is, of course, pink! However, I like the blue one too(:

Finally, I use my holy grail mascara, Maybelline Volume Express Falsies.
This is the best mascara of all time. Trust me, I've been through so many different brands and formulations of mascaras, both drugstore and high end, and this is by far the best. It lengthens and makes you look like you drink Latisse. Katy Perry would be proud!

I only wear waterproof mascara, which ensures that my lashes look the way they do for the entire day.
