hiya~
I've gone shopping quite a lot over the past month or so, and on Presidents' Day especially, so here are my finds (:
✿ Bath & Body Works ✿
I've been wanting to try out these fragrances for a while now, and so I picked these up because they were having a deal, and they're small in case I don't like them. I'm giving Country Chic to my best friend though because she was eyeing it every time we went into Bath and Body Works but never bought it. (:
I've been wanting these for so long, and I found these ones, which were really cute! These are shea-infused socks that you wear around the house, and there are grips on the bottom so you don't slip in your house.
✿ Sephora ✿
I've been trying to start using face makeup more often, but I didn't want to go directly to foundation, so I thought, why not start with a BB cream? I've heard great things about Tarte, and this one was decently priced and had a shade that fit me, so I picked it up! I hope I like this, and I will post a product review soon.
I thought this was Moroccan oil, so I bought it. It was quite overpriced, at $14, and I've tried it, and I'm really unsatisfied with it, so I'm going to be returning it!
✿ Forever 21 ✿
Rose Gold Arrow Ring
I really like this ring! It's super pretty, mainly because it's in rose gold. I've been wearing it every day since I purchased it. I find that rose gold really complements basically every skin tone really nicely. Forever 21 rings are really cheap, and last quite a while before they rust.
These rings are really cute, and mixed metal colors. I thought the heart design was really adorable, so I picked these up (: they don't look too great on, though.
Makeup Sponge
This is basically a Forever 21 Beauty Blender knockoff. I've never used the real Beauty Blender, so I don't really know if it's that great, but I bought it because I've been curious about sponges. I used it once to apply my Tarte BB Cream that I purchased the same day, and I don't really see a big difference in the quality of my skin. It may be because the BB cream is very lightweight and doesn't give a lot of coverage.
Right now, my favorite look is pairing a skirt or dress with over the knee socks and my knee high brown boots. I wanted these striped socks because i thought having pattern would be cute. However, these are one size fits all, and aren't long enough to go over my knee :( They're still cute knee high socks though!
Floral Shorts
These shorts look like a skirt on, which is nice because it's not always fun wearing skirts to school (: I think these will be easy to wear in the summer and spring. The pattern is cute, and the material is really comfortable. The design doesn't enunciate my muscly legs too, which is absolutely great!
I love wearing these wire headwraps! I have a daisy printed one from American Apparel, and I used to wear it a lot in the summer or just at home. I thought this was soo adorable because I love watermelons a lot! It's also a nice fabric, better than the American Apparel ones!
Floral Dress
I've been eyeing this dress for quite some time now, and I finally picked it up because it was on sale. It's got these wispy flowers sewn onto the top part, and the bottom flares out. It reminds me of something Ted Baker would design.
✿ Chanel ✿
I've been transporting my translucent Rimmel powder from school to home, and it's gotten cracked pretty badly, so I've been needing a good pressed translucent powder. My mom offered to buy me something from Chanel so I was like HECK YES. This one is really small yet it works super nicely. It doesn't give that caked effect like a lot of powders do. It's also in a compact which is super sleek and classy. Yay for my first Chanel face makeup item!
✿ Clinique ✿
This is my favorite moisturizer of all time! It's a bit on the pricier side, at around $50, but it lasts for a long time. I know people love Dramatically Different Moisturizer, but I prefer this over that. I'm currently using Dramatically Different, but I'm almost out, and I like this one better, so I'm back to Moisture Surge! It's insanely moisturizing, which is something my skin really needs right now. Dramatically also takes quite a time to absorb into my skin, and I like this one because it's more of a clear lotion.
✿ MAC ✿
I've heard many good things about this eyeshadow. I like it so far, but it comes off as an orangey bronze, which I'm not a big fan of. It's very similar to Trick and Liar from Naked 3, but it's in between both. Trick is more orangey, but Liar is a darker bronze. It's not as great as it seems, but it's still a quality eyeshadow.
My sister caked this brush in concealer when she went messing around in my bathroom so I had to throw it away because it dried really wrong. :( But anyways, this is the best eyeshadow brush of all time! I used to use it for blending my concealer, but it's better for eyeshadow. I like it because it's really fluffy but the tip fits perfectly on my eyelid.
✿ Mitsuwa ✿
Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Black
My sister also took the cap off of my Dolly Wink eyeliner, so I bought a new one. The Dolly Wink eyeliners are Japanese, and better than any liquid eyeliner I've used. The tip is really precise, and it dries very nicely. You can make the eyeliner thick or thin with ease as well.
That's it for my post today! Sorry for my lack of posts recently, school has yet again been killing me. My grades in Biology and math are severely lacking, and school comes first, so I'm working on it! Look forward to more posts soon (maybe another one today! :D )
xoxo,
