Yesterday my dad and I decided to hit the mall to see what we could squander up from last minute Black Friday sales. I went to the mall at around 6, and it was not packed like I had expected. There was a normal amount of people, but the sales were also not that great.
After we shopped at the mall, we headed over to Target, because my dad was feeling super YOLO and said, and I quote, "let's shop until they kick us out!".
However, I did pick up quite a few things. I guess you could say I went a little crazy...

I also picked this same tee up in the star print, because of the 2 for $24 deal. I thought this design was a more practical color and pattern, and easier to pair up with different clothing. I'll definitely wear this one more than the gingerbread one, because that one is obviously only for the holiday season.
I think I'll probably wear these tees with a black skirt and tights, or shorts and tights. I'm not sure if I'll wear them with jeans, though.
This cardigan is really similar to one I bought from Zara recently, and I wear that cardigan all the time. However, I like this one because it has a hood and the color is really unique.
Recently, I've been wanting just a simple zippered hoodie to wear, because I get too lazy to put effort into my outfits sometimes.
I had purchased this tank top in Fuchsia before, and I love wearing camis under basically everything, so I've been craving more colored ones. So, I picked these up because they're only $1.80 each, and I think they were having 2 for $3 bargain as well. These are really comfy and super similar to the BP camis, except these have a tiny v-neck, and a lot cheaper.
While waiting in line, a couple items caught my eyes, and they were kind of impulse purchases. They were only a few dollars each, so I though, why not?
I thought this color would be nice and festive for the holidays, and I don't have a color much like this. However, I've never purchased nail polish from Forever 21 before, so I'm not sure if I'll like the quality of it.
✿ Sephora ✿
Recently, I've been looking for good-quality blush/bronzer brushes because the Clinique one I stole from my mom ages ago is beginning to feel extremely coarse and shed. I thought these were cute and decently priced.
I've heard wonderful things about this product. It's basically a cream eyeshadow and it's supposedly long-lasting and waterproof. I swatched in on my hand in the shop, and it's been on my hand ever since. I've taken a shower and washed my hands multiple times, and it's still there. I haven't decided whether that's a bad thing or not, but the color is great, and it could definitely double as an eyeshadow, base, and hi-lighter.

I use this liquid eyeliner in the brown color everyday, and it's by far the best liquid eyeliner I've ever purchased! I'm not sure if I'll like using black eyeliner, because I like natural looks, but the application tip of this is remarkable and doesn't split at all. It's easy for both thin and thick lines. It dries very quickly as well. However, this doesn't last too long, and the color fades out but it doesn't smudge.

~Maybelline Falsies Volume Express Waterproof Mascara in Very Black~
This is by far the best mascara I've ever used, and I'm pretty sure this is my fourth time repurchasing it. It make my lashes look super long and it doesn't clump until you've had it for a few months. It lasts all day if you purchase the waterproof version. I like this version of Falsies because there are a few different version, but this one is the original and by far the best.
~Maybelline Mega Plush Waterproof Mascara in Blackest Black~
This was my first ever drugstore mascara, and I used it before I started curling my lashes, and I don't remember being particularly fond of it. However, I've been meaning to retry it because Maybelline mascaras are the best around, and the gel formulation and packaging is super attractive to me for some reason.
~Boots No7 Exquisite Curl Mascara in Brown/Black~
Honestly, I would've never tried this mascara if Zoella hadn't recommended it. I got it in brown/black because I want a natural looking mascara. Now that I think of it, I'm not entirely sure if this is waterproof. I normally do not wear normal mascaras because I do volleyball basically everyday. I put it on today, and although it doesn't do much for lengthening, it looks very natural yet pretty if you curl your eyelashes.
~Maybelline Eyestudio Baked Eyeshadow Duos~
One of my friends had this eyeshadow last year, and I've been meaning to try it. I put it on this morning, and I find that the left side is a dupe for Mac's Woodwinked, and the right side is a gold shimmer. Together, they look fantastic, and you can put on one or the other to change it up. It can be intense or natural as well, depending on how you pair the colors up.
~Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Trio in Walking on Eggshells~
I've never actually purchased one of these trios before, but I've heard fantastic things about them. I tried to put it on today, but I find that the eyelid color is not that great. It's kind of chalky when you put it on, but the crease color is a really pretty pinkish bronze. I also like the browbone color.
~Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in Transparent~
I've been looking for a natural-looking powder lately, and I like my Neutrogena one, but this one was transparent, which attracted me. British beauty bloggers rave about this product as well, and I finally found it in Transparent, so I decided to pick it up.
That's it for my post today, I hope you liked it! This was pretty long, and I think I was really successful in my haul. I think I spend around $200 total, which was pretty good if you take in account the vast number of items I purchased. This was probably my only chance to shop for the next few months, and I'm glad I got to hit Target and the mall. Product reviews will be coming soon, so if you read that a product mentioned above was something I'm trying out, don't purchase it yet! I do recommend the ones that I repurchased, so definitely check those out.
See you soon,
zozo~
