first, i stepped into nordstrom, where i did some serious damage in the Topshop section.
here are my finds :
✿ Geek Crop
Basically, it's a cotton crop top. The sleeves are rolled back. I have never actually owned a crop top before, because I'm scared to death of them. Surprisingly, my mom was the one to pick this out for me, so I thought, " Why not ? ".
It was rather cheap as well, at a price of $20 for a good quality tee.
✿ Maroon Skater Dress
( i apologise in advance, i couldn't locate the picture of the exact dress online, so i settled for this one, which is basically the same, but in a brighter red. )
The dress is extremely similar to this, and the material is absolutely amazing. It's super soft, yet somewhat stretchy. I am also in love with the colour maroon right now, so this dress was perfect for me. It accentuates my small waist, which is definitely good.
✿ Navy Blue Knit Sweater
I also picked out a navy blue sweater with pleather and studs on the shoulders. I thought that it would be nice for summer days, such as when you're at the beach, and it's a little chilly, and you can pop this on over your top.
It's really cute, and long-sleeved.
However, the Nordstrom saleswoman failed to remove the censor from the sweater (YOU HAD ONE JOB) , and everywhere I went, the alarm would go off. I didn't realise until it was too late, though, so I have to take it back to a store and get it taken off.
✿ Cord and Stone Collar Necklace
Next I entered the fragrance section of Nordstrom, where my mother and I picked out a bottle of perfume each.
✿ Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Summer
This is the fragrance my mother picked out. It's a light, fruity grapefruit scent, perfect for summer. This would be a great gift for family members, but I don't quite recommend this scent for younger women, as it is not a lively. I do believe this is limited edition, so grab it while you can!
✿ Marc Jacobs Sunshine Daisy Eau So Fresh
I had my eye on this fragrance for quite some time, and when the opportunity to purchase it popped up, I jumped at the chance. I've been using Dot by Marc Jacobs religiously, and I absolutely love it. I'm not a big fan of Daisy, Lola, or Oh, Lola, because I don't find floral scents too appealing. Daisy Eau So Fresh is my least favourite Marc perfume, but the Sunshine scent is amazing! It has notes of pink grapefruit, strawberry, and jasmine.
Overall, it's a youthful, citrusy/fruity scent that's perfect for my personality and style.
